I read a lot of business books, highlight the heck out of them, and then dictate into iPad Notes to capture the author’s message, along with specific action-based tips.
This month's IdeaExchange shares notes from Made to Stick, by Chip Heath and Dan Heath, which I highly recommend reading. We are all in the business of influencing others by sharing our ideas and can further hone our skills in this area.
Ideas need to stick, meaning they have lasting impact, are memorable and actionable, and change an audience’s opinions or behavior. Sticky ideas follow a simple formula of “SUCCESS”:
